Data Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

As the Data Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in empowering and leading our community of data professionals across the globe. Your mission will be to nurture a collaborative and inclusive ecosystem, ensuring technical excellence and fostering a culture of continuous learning. You will be tasked with taking our community of data professionals to next maturity level which involves tackling topics like data consistency, integrity and quality; consistency and alignment in the way we work in different solutions. Through your strategic guidance for our Product and Business stakeholders, you will drive innovation and maximize the potential of our data-driven solutions. Your Responsibilities: Holistic leadership: Recruit, lead, develop and coach data professionals who work in multiple different product teams. Support your teams become (or stay) empowered products teams by solving customer problems rather than implementing a backlog; Strategy and culture: Discuss and help define the tech strategy for products you are technically responsible for. Work closely together with other engineering managers and directors in defining and implementing our overall data and engineering strategy and culture. Partner with other tech and business leaders in the company to drive the success of our digital products; Bar raiser: Engage as a participant in technical discussions and decision making together with your data scientists, data analysts. Required key competencies and qualifications: You have experience with leading and developing people and a track record as an accomplished leader. You have great people skills and can manage a diverse global team of data professionals; You have excellent communication skills and can communicate effectively with people from a wide range of experiences and professional backgrounds;
