Product Owner (m/w/d) – Onboard Development

What tasks can you expect? We are looking for a Product Owner for an onboard functionality in the telematics field. You will develop the product vision and product strategy for a central functionality in collaboration with business partners and represent it in cross-functional committees. Together with the business partner and the development team, you will take on the functional design of the feature. You will align the functional and technical requirements with all stakeholders. You will create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog. You will be the main point of contact for the software development team, business partners, and all other stakeholders. You will closely collaborate with other Product Owners of telematics ECUs to jointly develop the telematics solution. How do you fit into our team? You are excited about taking responsibility for an onboard component in a telematics control unit for Mercedes-Benz together with our team. You already have experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in agile software development, ideally for onboard software. For you, agility goes beyond just Scrum meetings and processes. You have experience in requirements management using tools like User Story Mapping and have a product-oriented mindset. You excel in communication, moderation, and negotiation across hierarchies. You have practical experience in software engineering and are familiar with C & C++. Linux and QNX are not unfamiliar to you, and you also have some knowledge of Yocto, SOME/IP, DLT, or ASPICE. You possess good German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
