Introducing Green IT practices to a large Software Company

The share of global carbon emissions from cloud computing is about 3%, and increasing. Amadeus is committed to sustainability and has embarked for a year in a journey to change mindset and engineering practices, as we migrate our services to the public cloud. The journey is a challenge and significant shifts are hard to implement. We have started with education, and we do continue with measuring our impact. A crucial step is to implement green IT best practices over design and implementation. We will share some of our learnings and achievements.
