Serverless Architectures with Spring Cloud Functions and Knative

This talk will show how to use Spring Cloud Functions to build an application that runs as a native binary and leverages Open-API. The deployment will be shown for the Kubernetes based serverless framework Knative.

What should be considered when using a functions-based architecture and how should the application be divided into separate functions. What does the developer experience with Spring Native looks like in practice and what are best practices?

It will be explained which use cases are suitable for the use of Spring Cloud Functions and Knative and which are the alternatives regarding implementation language, frameworks and cloud environments. Deployment to the cloud and autoscaling from 0 to many instances will be demonstrated in practice.
