As an applicator you are responsible for the design of wiring harnesses and the installation of electrical components / sensors / control units for Volkswagen platforms and vehicles. In the future, special attention will be paid to the electrical design of high-voltage and low-voltage topologies as a system, taking into account the performance requirements of our customers and functional safety requirements. Your tasks Development and application of the wiring system according to our development process, in consideration of deadline, costs, technology/quality. Planning and execution of projects in consideration the milestones and maturity levels relevant for product development Validate and verify the wiring system system and assess safety and reliability requirements of resulting architectures and resolve trade-offs Aggregation and management of technical risks and maturity levels to report system maturity(s) Using an end-to-end virtual development chain to develop our vehicles and final release of the system Your qualifications Completed studies in the field of electrical, automotive, communications engineering or comparable qualification.
