We are looking for support in our Software team for our SCALAR platform in different locations in Europe (Lausanne, Bern, Dublin, Ieper, Friedrichshafen, Germany, Poland, Italy, France, or Spain).
Your tasks:
- Develop modern web applications and APIs for transportation operations and decision-making, including supervision, management, and orchestration of fleets and services connected to our cloud platform.
- Build and maintain services supporting our own interfaces, but also enabling our customers' systems to integrate seamlessly through APIs
- Take part in all the phases of the software development lifecycle, from inception to deployment and maintenance.
- Work autonomously to balance your priorities and make an impact for our customers, while maintaining and advancing a complex system over time.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our methods, practices, and architecture.
Your profile:
- Senior-level skills in Backend engineering, Scala, and its ecosystem.
- Experience in building distributed systems with micro-services and asynchronous messaging operating in a cloud environment.
- Experience with relational databases, cloud architectures, and event-sourced, reactive systems.
- Autonomous, customer-oriented mindset, able to balance your priorities and work closely with Product Managers.
- Affinity to quality, testing, and continuous delivery. Agile and DevOps mindset.
